Post A: Head Cook (1 Position – Fixed Term Contract)
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 Ordinary level passes including English.
- Diploma in Professional Cookery.
- Higher National Diploma or Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management (an added advantage).
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in catering operations and supervision.
Desired Attributes:
- Strong leadership skills, flexibility, and physical stamina.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt to different working environments.
- IT literacy and administrative abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant food safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Menu planning and recipe experimentation.
- Supervising staff and allocating duties.
- Ensuring food safety compliance.
- Customer service and interaction.
- Stock control and sales reconciliation.
Post B: Chef/Cook (4 Positions – Fixed Term Contract)
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 Ordinary level passes including English.
- National Certificate in Professional Cookery.
- Class One in the related trade.
- National Diploma in Professional Cookery (an added advantage).
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in catering operations.
Desired Attributes:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Understanding of food and personal hygiene.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Food preparation and handling multiple orders.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Proper storage of food and detergents.
- Sanitizing workstations and utensils.
- Stock control and minimizing wastage.
Post C: Waiter/Waitresses (2 Positions – Fixed Term Contract)
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 Ordinary level passes.
- Minimum of two years of proven experience in the catering field.
Desired Attributes:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Team player with patience and good communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and guests.
- Ensuring hot and cold food is served at appropriate temperatures.
- Menu presentation and customer inquiries.
- Compliance with health and hygienic policies.
Post D: Kitchen Porter (2 Positions – Fixed Term Contract)
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 Ordinary level passes.
- Minimum of one year of working experience in the related field (an added advantage).
Desired Attributes:
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Basic cleaning skills and self-driven attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Basic cleaning tasks and pot washing.
- Unloading equipment and food items.
- Floor sweeping and mopping.
- Garbage disposal and food preparation assistance.
