Midlands State University is seeking applications from highly qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Research, Innovation, and Industry Linkage Officer (RIILO) within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Qualifications and Experience:
- First degree in Health Sciences or equivalent with at least a 2.1 pass.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights is an added advantage.
- Strong marketing and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Faculty rural attachment/ Work Related Learning program for Medicine and Health Sciences students.
- Develop and manage the rural attachment/ Work Related Learning placement programs, including monitoring students in the workplace, arranging visits, and managing records and data collection.
- Provide regular updates on the rural attachment/ Work Related Learning program outcomes and address issues impacting its success.
- Assist in developing the student orientation program for students due for rural attachment/ Work Related Learning.
- Provide students with policies, guidelines, and procedures during their Work-Related Learning period.
- Address student queries related to rural attachment/ Work Related Learning.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of students on rural attachment/ Work Related Learning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry and stakeholders.
- Form partnerships between the Faculty and industry for student career development.
- Collaborate with government, industry, and community groups to create productive partnerships.
- Provide high-level client support to partners, establish feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and track alumni achievements in collaboration with the Faculty.
- Coordinate and document Community Engagement activities.
- Provide feedback to departments from Industry for curriculum improvement.
- Perform other duties delegated by the Executive Dean.
