The Zimbabwe National Geospatial and Space Agency (ZINGSA), a statutory body established in terms of the Research Act (Chapter 10:22) is searching for a suitable and qualified candidate to fill the following position:
- Registered Land Surveyor x 1
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys
- Executes surveys for resolution of boundary disputes.
- Prepares regular survey action plans for surveys and maintains job registers.
- Liaises with the Department of the Surveyor General and the Registrar of Deeds in relation to the examination of title surveys and the registration of land.
- Controls usage of equipment and ensures proper maintenance and service thereof
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics or an acceptable equivalent.
- Registration with the Council of Land Surveyors in Zimbabwe.
- Membership of the Survey Institute of Zimbabwe is a MUST.
- At least ten years post qualification experience.
- Experience in geoinformatics will be an added advantage.
- Class 4 driver’s licence a must
COMPENSATION
